Join us for the fall 2024聽葫芦影业 English Reading Series, which will feature StarWound, a musical trio based in Athens, Greece, in collaboration with 葫芦影业 creative writing students and faculty. The performance聽will take place on Monday, October 21st, from 7-8:30pm in Snyder Recital Hall in Presser.
聽StarWound fuses cabaret ambience with elements of EDM and synth rock. The band鈥檚 lyrics arise from the philosophical and social concerns of modern man. StarWound has released three albums and performed at venues like the Eurosonic festival in Netherlands. As part of their U.S. tour and collaborative project titled 鈥淚nteriors,鈥 StarWound is visiting 葫芦影业 to perform pieces by and with our creative writing students and professors, including Orionna Howard, Charles Seibert, and Dr. Jennifer Moore.
The event will be preceded by a catered reception and followed by a Q & A session. Free and open to the public, the event is supported with a generous gift from Phil Oleson, BSPh '66, and Mary (Monstwil) Oleson, BSPh '70.
