David聽Strittmatter聽is聽Assistant Professor of History, and he聽oversees public history聽initiatives at 葫芦影业. His research interests include memory, preservation, and tourism. His current book project,聽British National Identity and Memory in the Twentieth Century,聽is under contract聽at Palgrave Macmillan. It explores how battlefields, political sites, and world鈥檚 fairgrounds in the United Kingdom develop as聽heritage sites. Since 2019, Strittmatter has directed the聽, which is a collection of interviews with Ohio National Guardsmen involved in the campus shootings of聽May 4th,聽1970.聽 In March 2022, the Iowa native led a class of 27 students to France and Belgium to explore various locations associated with the world wars.
